✨ Claude AI Elaborate — Setup

The ✨ buttons and AI Session Summary use Claude to turn shorthand notes into patient-friendly wording. Since this tool runs standalone on Squarespace (not inside Claude), it needs its own Anthropic API key to reach Claude. This is a one-time setup per browser/device.

  1. Go to console.anthropic.com/settings/keys and sign in (or create an account).
  2. Click Create Key, give it a name like "Hope Report Tool", and copy the key it shows you (starts with sk-ant-...). You won't be able to see it again after you leave that page, so copy it right away.
  3. Anthropic bills this by usage (pay-as-you-go) — you'll need a payment method on the account. Elaborate/Summary requests are tiny and typically cost a small fraction of a cent each.
  4. Paste the key below and click Test Connection to confirm it works.

Your key is sent directly from this browser to Anthropic's API when you click ✨ Elaborate or Generate Summary. It is never written into this page's code, saved by us, or visible to anyone else who opens this tool.

🔗 Publish & Get Link — Setup

Sends the finished report to your Google Apps Script backend, which saves a record row to your Google Sheet and hosts the report at a shareable link. Saved in this browser only.

✨ AI Session Summary

Tick any quick notes that apply, fill in the sections below if you like, then click Generate — Claude will combine everything into a short warm overview for the top of the report. Review and edit before printing.
